Concert tapes currently available

The following is a list of tapes that are live recordings from concerts, available from the CONCERT ORGANISERS. If you belong to a non-profit group that organises concerts, please use this medium to advertise your tapes for sale. It is not feasible for me to check whether the rights to the recording were made available in the concert contract, so please double check before requesting that something be posted here. As a step towards preventing the sale of unauthorised tapes that rob the artists of royalty, and to prevent individuals from trying to profit from personal recordings and personal copies, I would please request only individuals affiliated to organisations, to present items to be posted. Please mention the name of the organisation, otherwise it will not be posted. And I would like to advise individuals who order tapes from these sources to make their check payable to the organisation.

The sale and purchase of tapes will increase revenues to nonprofit concert organising committees, and will also make available the music in rare concert events which everyone cannot attend in person.

Here is an incomplete list of tapes that the organizers at Boston have for sale. All of these are authorized recordings and are for sale by the New England Tamil Sangam (NETS), the New England Hindu Temple Inc. (NEHTI), or Sangam, the Indian Students' Assn at MIT etc.
